Milton Resnick's paintings are works of gravitas and heft. One is claustrophobic standing among them. They quietly impose themselves on the space they occupy - seeming to inch much further into the viewer's personal space than the too thin stretcher bars should allow. This is painting as quiet yet insistent entity.
