He is known within the New York artist’s community primarily for his extensive work documenting the art scene through his map and diagram paintings, video reports and reviews. Munk has executed numerous national and international public and private commissions, including a mural for the Mayor’s Office of Paris. He is well represented in important collections throughout Europe, South and North America and the Middle East. Most recently, Munk has been producing a major series of paintings that tackle the subject of art itself through an historical and diagrammatic lens.
