Openings: Bold As Love, Julie Torres @ Taller Boricua

Some images from last night's opening at Taller Boricua in Harlem. Brooklyn dynamo Julie Torres took over two large rooms with her colorful, complex works on paper. Torres displayed the work in inventive groupings that activated, and interacted with the space, and capitalized on  similarities found within the paintings formal elements.

The crowd enjoys an impromptu picnic.
